The engineering output identifies one of four conditions: producible as submitted, producible after modification, sample-dependent, or not currently suitable for stable production. Each formal SKU receives a current drawing, BOM, artwork, material, dimensions, weight, attachment, finish, decoration, testing, and packaging version. Golden Sample

The Golden Sample records accepted appearance and function, including size, connection, edge, Logo, PVD shade, texture, enamel, stones, assembly, and packaging. Approval photographs and sample identification are retained. Physical customer and factory samples can be managed according to the agreed project procedure and retention period.

First Article

Before normal bulk output, the first article is checked against controlled files and the Golden Sample. Deviations in dimensions, interface clearance, orientation, engraving, decoration, surface, assembly, or packaging are closed before the affected process continues. The first article does not replace later in-process and final inspection.

Dimensions and Interfaces

Inspection covers overall dimensions, thickness, weight, hole diameter, hole-to-edge distance, loop geometry, attachment clearance, and hanging direction. Drawings define datum points and measurement methods. Actual readings are recorded with calibrated or verified tools when numerical control is required, rather than using only pass-or-fail marks.

Surface and Decoration

Polish, texture, PVD, engraving, enamel, resin, stones, and pearls are checked against their individual references. Inspection covers scratches, pits, exposed substrate, color variation, fill boundary, height, security, readability, and handling damage. Process order and cleaning compatibility help protect decoration already completed.

Connection Strength

Jump rings, welded loops, bails, and related connections are tested in the approved pulling direction. When applicable, Chicolink's internal reference for pendant rings, connecting rings, and clasps is 40 N held for 10 seconds. Final AQL and Packing

Final inspection covers product, function, SKU, set composition, Logo, packaging, labels, and carton data. Unless otherwise agreed, the internal framework uses normal inspection, general level II, Critical Ac 0/Re 1, Major AQL 1.0, and Minor AQL 2.5. Sample size follows an approved AQL table.

Batch Traceability

Order, SKU, drawing version, material batch, work order, tooling, polishing, decoration, in-house PVD batch, inspection, nonconforming treatment, packing batch, carton, shipment, and complaint records can be linked. Agreed evidence may include internal QC reports, production photographs, packing photographs, videos, and third-party reports.
